You'd think they could have gotten more than just a sixth-rounder, that's disappointing. But closing the book on him seems the primary goal here.

People still blaming Bill, the NFL didn't think it was all Bill or someone would of thought he was worth investing more than a 6th rounder as a pure back up with zero chance of ever being the starter.

Bill didn't make him throw 20 yard floating ducks or turn his arm noodle.

Mac Jones is the only first round QB without a serious arm injury they had to cork up a hail mary for a 35 yard pass

It's easier for the Mac Jones believers to blame someone else and look for excuses rather than admit he was never worth the 15th pick and doesn't do one single thing at an above average level.

Thank god we don't have to watch him ever again, it's a great day, hopefully he flourishes for the Birmingham Stallions in a few years.

I thought we had something during his rookie year but I think defenses caught up to him by the end of the year and he never was able to make the necessary adjustments.

He tanked his own development and started a mini coup over the offensive coordinator hiring after Josh left. Even being right you have to wonder how handling it differently could have impacted him and the team.

Turned a 15th overall into a 6th. Hell yeah
ROI

If people thought it was all Mac and not Bill, Bill would have a job. Mac is still in the league

Wow. Guess I was wrong that’s all that was out there for him.

It’s for the best on both sides. He was done here. Lawrence has had some injuries so he’ll probably get a chance to play there.

at least hes closer the alabama now

You must not have seen Mac jones play last season. A sixth is a steal. We’re lucky we didn’t have to give up picks for someone to take Mac
