Mac needs to practice throwing to real weapon. A pro bowl is a decent way to get your feet wet. I'm hoping he'll get something out of it, like, " coach, get me someone like him at WR"

I think he already has enough of a frame of reference with Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith, John Metchie. I think those who said he played with better WR at Alabama than New England were potentially correct.

What is your point? Playing at Alabama negates any benefit he might gain from hanging out with and talking to other players who are extremely successful?

There is that aspect of it but they also hardly play defense either so it is basically a glorified scrimmage. A few guys over the years have gotten banged up at the Pro Bowl. I know Tyler Eifert was coming off a huge year and got hurt and I think Drew Brees did as well. We all know about Robert Edwards too.

Robert Edwards was playing in some weird beach football game.

That game was a disaster waiting to happen. I know any player's career can end on any play, but IMHO there was an especially high risk in playing a football game - even a low-contact one - in that situation.
