Well, we all know the negatives to the PHI game (lets not get started on those). Instead of looking at everything with "Oh my God, we lost twice, we are so screwed", lets be realistic.
Let's look at the positives:
Let's look at the positives:
- We are NOT mentally weak. Anyone who ever said this team was mentally weak, can seriously leave. Your accounts should be deactivated. This team is mentally strong and proved that in the 4th quarter.
- James White. He outperformed my expectations tremendously and was very sure-handed. I am sure he earned some of that "Brady Trust" going forward.
- Our defense. The coverage was pretty solid against PHI (save for the very last play, when our pass rush should've sacked Bradford). We gave up 14 total points on defense, which is good enough to beat any team.
- Scott Chandler, kind of. I thought that Chandler filled in alright for Gronk. Obviously, he will never be an elite TE, but he is a good backup to have when he is not dropping everything thrown his way.
- Tom Brady. Just the GOAT. Working with such limited weapons, no line, no deep threat and no consistency. Tom truly is the best QB to ever to play.
