Not with the way he dances behind the LOS. He's a very talented RB but, match-up wise, he's probably the most ill-suited RB in the NFL to go against a Belichick defense. I was actually upset when he came out and Williams came in.

I love how everyone seems to ignore the fact that the Patriots were without Gronk for this last postseason.

Bell probably won't even be healthy for this game anyways.

What was he averaging yard wise before he left? Me thinks he was in for a long night anyways.

Meh, this is nothing. The Pats are the champs, again, and they need to stir up drama somehow to get viewers.

Pats run D was pretty damn good last year. Pisses me off how they are getting zero respect.

The NFL is trying to sell their games to the public. What are they supposed to say?

"What if Bell had been healthy for the AFC Championship? Would they have beaten New England? Probably not, and they'll probably lose in Week 15, but please tune in anyway!"

To be fair, the Bell storyline sounds much better than "What if Rob Gronkowski had been healthy for the AFC Championship game? Would the Patriots have still won by 19 points or would i have been closer to 30? Find out as the Patriots likely blow the Steelers out yet again"

I agree it's pathetic but I don't think it's a shot. It just sound like they are reaching for s story line to me.

If you are gonna slant it like that at least add "Or will Tom Brady continue his utter dominance of the Steelers"

He was averaging 3.3 per carry before he left. That style is very poorly equipped to go up against a stout, two-gapping run defense.

It's going to be funny when the Patriots are 11-2 and playing a 7-6 Steelers team facing huge playoff odds. Am I the only one whose noticed a steep regression in Roethlisberger's play? Guys with his style of play and body type are not bouncing back.

Exactly. The NFL is going to make it seem like every single game on the schedule this year should be/will be close and you're a fool for not watching what could be the game of the year.

In the picture, is that JE11 in his color rush uniform chasing Bell?

Maybe the copy should be "If Bell was healthy, and for some reason the Patriots decided to play Julian Edelman at linebacker, could the Steelers have beat the Pats?"

I find this funny considering Bell was supposedly injured already but it wasn't on the injury report. "What if the Steelers had followed NFL rules in disclosing injured players? Would the Patriots have gameplanned differently and blown them out even worse?"
