Just said on conference right now.

Yes, there is a God; another 12+ win season, first round bye, one and done in the playoffs.

Outstanding................

So what about his kids signing up for school in Tampa Bay? The press made a big deal about this. What about the children?!

Does anyone else get very annoyed with this yearly, "everybody look at me" fest, usually only perpetrated by Lord Favre (who was already at it yesterday). If you're going, go; if you're staying, stay, but don't drag it out for weeks and then hold some stupid press conference like you are a world leader making some important announcement. Other than the Colts, who really cares if Dungy stays or goes. Same goes for the Packers & Favre. Get off your high horse. You're not that important.

Well, considering that there are already 3 threads on the topic here...

Just like to take this opportunity to pile on. First the N.E. Patriots are about to be deemed as the Greatest at 19-0. They have the #7 pick in the next draft, along with two #3's, one which is at the top of the third. Indy, on the other hand, just lost its first playoff game after compiling a 13-3 record. They do not have a first round pick in this next draft. When they do select a pick, it will be followed shortly by the Patriots, who will be picking a few slots later, again. Is this why Dungy decided to let us know he's coming back? Actually, its not the Patriots that Indy needs to watch, but the Jacksonville Jags. They pick twice before Indy has a pick, and they have a better defense. Hey Tony, welcome back.

Bush didn't get impeached again.

Perfectly put! Having a press conference to announce that you're NOT retiring --- are you kidding me?!!!

From Irsay: Things will be "business as usual." Hate to see the Colts lose their stranglehold on the NFL record of most 12+ win seasons. :rocker:

What are you talking about? Dungy had a personal conversation with God over the weekend to discuss this decision. You don't think the results of direct contact with the Almighty are deserving of a press conference? You, sir, are going to burn for that...

Well, at least when ARod interrupted the World Series with his statement at least he talked to his agent.

I love how PTI, and Sportscenters top stories aren't the Superbowl...but Dungy deciding to stay in Indy. Good thing they called a PC with Irsay Douche-bag Polian, and the rest of the crew to announce that everything is still the same!
