Patriots Player Departure LG Michael Jordan released

I’ll take that as your admission that you realize your argument stinks. Running away is a wise choice.
Nah, I'm not running. More like pointing and laughing as I walk away.

Exactly, maybe they've seen enough of Jordan to know he's not good enough and still holding out hope for those behind him.

End of the day the team cuts a sh*t player regardless and it will have no impact on our season.

Bad team, bad players, bad coaching, and bad personnel management.

You guys care too much about what is going on this year. Its mostly head scratching stuff. Grab a burboun and chillax.

I have been to 3 games already and will be going on Sunday. Wish me luck

I care because it may impact Drake Maye's health. Whatever they do now to shuffle the line, it better not be worse, but with this team's massive coaching issues, it probably will be. The Patriots have the worst coaching staff in the league, and I have little faith that change will yield a positive return. I guess Brown at center is the counterexample.
I hope Wolf and Mayo heard Maye's response when asked if he thought that it would be better to spend the rest of the year developing chemistry with the young guys or try to win games. Maye said that developing chemistry happens in practice and that the best players in practice should start. I can't imagine that he wants to learn how to play QB with a bunch of trial players against teams who are in peak form and trying to go to the playoffs. I am starting to think that people were right that Maye would get ruined if he played too early with a bad roster. His confidence in the organization is what is going to get ruined if this circus keeps up.

You are getting off the crazy train? You are not going to post 200 dislikes today? Hard to believe.

Obviously it's an imposter and not Arch. Although if he's just getting off the Andy train who can blame him? I mean, who among us hasn't been there? In fact I'd venture a guess most of us start there.

I don't have the complete list but so far this month the Chiefs, Chargers, Giants, Eagles, Rams, Washington, Jags, Lions, Bengals, and Broncos have all outright cut players this month. Do they all seem hesitant or incapable of making logical and timely evaluations?

Look, teams cut players all the time for all kinds of reasons. It's not just the Pats. It's every team all across the league. People freaking out about cutting an underperforming player are looking to pile on or are freaking out or freaking out's sake.
I listed other reasons for my concerns too. Cutting a starter was just one of my concerns. Why not just bench him?

We are 3-9, the team appears to have no direction, they seem to have no clue how to evaluate players.
Every week there are new reasons to be concerned the team is being run by incompetent people.
You seem to be happy with that. Why?
Agreed. I don't even think you're freaking out but now would be as good a time as any.

If it's about effort, focus & maybe locker room stuff we don't know about.
I imagine (as bad as Mayo has been) they're not stupid, and trying everything possible to root out the guys who are holding the team down. While - on the OL, that seems to be more Lowe & Jacobs, we don't know the assignments and calls.
Lowe has some bad breakdowns - with speed edge rushers, but he's held up better in most situations than I expected.
Jacobs is the one who will be replaced this week. Not sure by whom? Especially if Sow is in at LG now?
Could Strange be ready??

Don't mean to pile on Jordan for that play where he was blocking literally nobody but it looks like he stepped over the LOS (blue line) right here. I was gonna give him "credit" for not being the illegal man downfield but maybe I spoke too soon. This is a flag if the ref was watching right? Or is it a penalty only if both feet are over the LOS?

So for 12 weeks he was the best guy then suddenly the guys behind him are better without playing?
If the put the Qb at risk to send a message they are dumber than I thought.

I suspect the coaches know there is no "best guy" on this line and they're right. They all absolutely suck. No point elevating one over the other.

I have no idea what they are doing with the line this year. Obviously, the Okorafor situation was an abject disaster that they had to scrap early, but the musical chairs have been maddening. We have used 11 different starting linemen now, and it will likely be 12 to 13 soon if Strange and this new guy get a turn to start. They are all pretty bad, but the fact that the staff hasn't been able to determine the best 5 guys is worrisome. I get that there have been injuries, but they need to pick 5 guys and keep them in the same spots. The shuffling doesn’t allow for any continuity and seems to be why there are constant miscommunications and a complete inability to stop the stunts coming from the opposing defensive linemen. This stuff should have been handled over the summer and at the latest by the end of September.

They are just shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Just let the band play until the ship goes under. No need to keep swapping the violin players.

I can proudly proclaim publically (I know you are a fan of alliteration) that I have not been on that train. Have I been on other crazy trains? Yeah, well maybe, but those stories are not ones I proudly proclaim publically.

Remember that time I said all the free agent offensive linemen Elliot Wolf signed from outside the program this offseason sucked, and posters here argued they were good?

Pepperidge Farm remembers…

It's kind of strange to see such violent reactions to a poor player being let go. It's not like he was the starting DB for 95% of the snaps but was benched for a SB for an unknown reason.

There's nobody here who has any clue why the Pats let Jordan go but many of you think you have all the answers anyway. That's funny.

I don’t think this is that surprising. He’s the sixth cut of November, three players on rookie contracts who had fallen to the bottom of the depth chart (Thornton, Thomas, and Mathis), and three that were not last on the depth chart, but were upcoming free agents that were widely not expected back (McMillan, Wilson, Jordan). Should probably just get used to a cut a week at this point as they continue to give tryouts to waiver and practice squad guys.
