The Kraft era patriots are arguably the best team ever. However, we usually measure dynasties is smaller doses.
The 2001-2004 patriots were one of the top 5 teams/dynasties of all time. Almost everyone agrees.
That team is long gone, except for Belichick and Brady. The 2005-2013 patriots are one of the best in the NFL, certainly the most consistently strong. We are 0-2 in the SB. The 2007 team was truly awesome, one play away from being the best team ever (Of course fans now look to the team as a failure). We have missed greatness by one play in 2006, and have missed greatness because Gronkowski can't stay healthy for the playoffs.
