Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
Free agent TE Bo Scaife had a tryout with the Pats Tues

I remember him being a decent player in Tennessee. Due diligence? Agent favor? Genuine Interest?

We need camp bodies at TE. Also, there us nothing wrong with insurance against injury and to give Fells competition.

This makes me a little worried about Gronk's recovery.

Considering our apparent interest in Clark and now this with Scaife, I really wonder if BB is considering keeping 4 TEs on the roster. Certainly it appears he wants there to be competition for the #3 spot.

This is BB we're talking about. He probably calls every single TE that gets cut. . . .

He's brought in a lot of WR, TE, and RBs this offseason. What offensive record is he trying to break this season?

ALL of them

Or just a ring will do

least sacks
least hits on Brady

I remember him getting the franchise tag a few seasons ago!

I am sure it is just seeing what is out there incase they need another TE!

Yup. Maybe he wanted to apologize for not drafting him in 2005.

He probably would like to have enough talent one of these years so that his offense doesn't look totally inept and clueless in the playoffs and SB.

hmmm I seem to remember blowing out a Broncos team that was good on the defensive side of the ball and then Tom Brady putting on a tremendous performance in the Super Bowl, coming within freak missed catch that is completed 98% of the time of winning it. That's without even mentioning the Manningham catch and Nink's off-sides in the Giants own territory on 3rd down into that.

The drive to start off the second half is still mesmerizing. Had they came out on top, that would be remembered as an all-time great moment and turning point. The Giants D were completely gassed.

The offense has not been the reason that the Patriots haven't won in a Super Bowl in seven years

If Scaife is reasonable (& healthy), Bill should sign him & release the UDFA tackling dummy
he signed a couple of days ago.

Ahhh

Yeah, it actually has.

Every playoff loss since 2006, has had more to do with the offense than defense.

I have no issue carrying 4 quality Tight Ends on the roster if it comes to that.

Fells again a no-show in Foxborough today. Does anybody know what's the matter w/ him?
