Did I just imagine that? If so, don't wake me from this beautiful dream.

Warner carrying that trophy was so lame.
Worse was Goodell citing the Seahawks before he presented the trophy.
He was right to mention the Seahawks but it just stirred up the anger over 2007 when he snubbed the 18 - 1 NE Patriots. That's when Goodell lost me and I knew he was not a good Commissioner. Teams goes 18 - 0, losses a heartbreaker in the SB and the Commish never mentions them. Unbelievable!!!
BTW, NICE snub by Bill Belichick on the stage. BB hung in the back with his back turned talking to some folks on stage when Goodell was up there. Sweet!!!

I thought that the Warner thing was delicious.
Obviously, he volunteered to carry the trophy because he thought the Seahawks would win and hoped that he would have been a first ballot HOFer the night before.
NOT. NOT.
And, for the record, he didn't "award" the trophy, he carried it to the podium and disappeared so fast you couldn't see him in any of the shots.

Warner was a logical choice given that the super bowl was played in Arizona. Plus he was a HOF finalist this year.
