Watching Dan and Mankins maul the vaunted Charger defensive front was pure joy. Koppen abused poor Jamal "meatwagon" Williams, moving him around like the behemoth was on roller skates. Koppen was awesome, and Mankins was his usual nasty self. They haven't got too much pub, and deserve some major kudos for this performance.

I think Koppen and Mankins are great. Mankins should be a pro-bolwer this year, but Williams was hurt last night. That contributed some to the Patriot's success.

At the beginning of the game, Williams was a force. He was shedding blockers like they were puppies nipping at his heals. The guy's no slouch. I did see Mankins get one excellent block into him, cutting him down. Most of the time the Pats were double-teaming him, and he was still getting free to wreak some damage. The Pats' running game was not good in first half.

By the end of the game, however, Jamal had a flex-brace on his left arm/elbow area; my guess is he hyper-extended it, which hurts like hell. He was far less effective at this point of the game.

Absolutely! Thanks for pointing out this out. Our unheralded OL is FANTASTIC.

That said, Madden mentioned how Jamal Williams is unable to be fully efficient due to the wrapped up left (?) arm. Do you think we would have been as successful if that wasn't the case?

Jamal Williams is a monster, an abolute beast. He was destroying Koppen and Mankins in the 1st half, but in the 2nd half he hurt his left arm and had a brace on. After that, Mankins flattened him a few times.

The Jets are now saying that the Pats have a secret cosmic ray gun pointed at other team's players to give them injuries.
