Bourne needs to fire his cameraman, he did an awful job.
The only interesting thing I heard in this video, I coulda sworn I heard Mac ask Bourne if he’s staying over, and I thought I heard Bourne say he has his own room in the house. That might mean they are very close, which is cool. I know Hunter Henry is a neighbor of Mac’s (Hunter mentioned that). So it’s great that Mac had all these guys over and how close the team seems, good chemistry.
Saw this article in the feed. It was really cool to watch the attached video with my Son. In a lame ass, fan kinda of way, it felt like watching this video was some sort of passing the torch. I was able to identify a few guys, but he immediately knew who most of them were. These are his NE Patriots now. Hopefully he can share even a fraction of joy as a fan in his young adult life as I did.
It’s definitely a trip. Things change every year, and players come and go. We’re all used to it. But, it definitely hit differently watching that vid with my kid. I felt old AF. Still really cool having that level of access to a bunch of players hanging out. Getting to see them as people.Just out of curiosity, I looked up the 2018 Patriots on pro football reference and here are the current guys remaining from that team:
Starters:
Trent Brown (Left and came back)
David Andrews
Lawrence Guy
Deatrich Wise, Jr.
Devin McCourty
Joe Cardona
Jonathan Jones (Slot CB)
Matthew Slater (Ace gunner)
Back ups:
Ja-Whaun Bentley
James Ferentz
Brian Hoyer (Left and came back)
Of the above list, only Slater, McCourty, Joe Cardona, and Jon Jones were on the 28-3 Houston team....
Then only Slater and McCourty (and Butler) were on the 2014 Butler interception team.....
Things change fast in the NFL.....
