You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

(TRANSLATION: WE’RE UP 13-3 AT HALFTIME!)

Except we were never up "13-3" at halftime.

As a matter of fact, the first half came to a horrible conclusion with the Patriots giving up 14 points in the final 2:30 of the half to go in tied at 14-14, with all of the momentum heading towards SEA, who also would receive the ball to start the 2nd half.

Yeah, that was a train-wreck end of the first half. If we had lost, the story would have been the miracle catch by Kearse, but that sequence to end the first half was equally as brutal. Although as clarification, Simmons wrote that the week before the game.

I'll be honest.. I thought that whomever did Katy Perry's original dress missed out on a huge opportunity.. Had they done a modicum of research, they'd have known that Lenny Kravitz played the designer in the movie "HUNGER GAMES". Had Perry come out in a similar dress to that, it would have looked 1000x better than that pleather crap she was wearing.

For me, 2008 is associated with Alicia Keyes and a song by Muse. To this day, I can't hear those two songs without a flashback. Keyes was singing during pre game festivities and Muse was played on commercials on NFLN for the Superbowl.

I wasn't able to listen to that Muse song (Starlight) since 2008. Just downloaded it to my iPhone the day after the Super Bowl.

if the choice is between her and Mad Donna the Repugnantly Wicked Witch of the West

I pulled out of the pound this cat (needed leather gloves)

  • pale
  • athletic
  • F-bombed other cats
  • has this evil under the breath howl
  • even has a gap between her front teeth.
Yes, I named her Mewdonna and it fits. Sometimes I'd call her the Little Furball of HATE after Pat Verbeck

It's probably a Deflategate article.
