Julian Edelman getting reps as RB

If Edelman does throw some passes this year I'd wager it would be more like Randle El and have it as an option on the end around, as opposed to the Wildcat.

I'm a bit weary of the wildcat, from what I've gather most Miami fans hate it now, and simply refer to it as the "formation." Many of them don't want to see it because they feel it throws Henne off his game.

You might be right. Actually, when I was thinking of Edelman throwing the ball, it was with Brady in the game. This way, he fires the ball right back at Brady who bombs it downfield to Moss. (ok, it only happens once, but what a memory).

Trying him a RB makes sense seeing how crowded WR is.

... and might not bode well for RBs fighting for a roster spot.

I'd guess the reporter who followed up a Edelman at RB question with a BJGE question feels the same way.
