The Cowboys are a huge draw because of all the 40 and 50 somethings who grew up rooting for them, the Lakers and the Yankees.
One other factor not being mentioned; the division you play in….being seen in best markets gets you more revenue & value.

Sorry, but Miami, Buffy , and [maybe] even Beantown don’t compare to the Local tv-media money available in NYC, DC, Philthadelphia, & Dallas. AFCE does have the entré into NYC market w Jesters; but all the self-respecting NYers I ever knew were Gints fans. They left jester fandom to NJ-troglodytes.

After watching game #2, I thought he looked better than game #1. Frankly ever so slightly worse than what I saw from Maye for his game #2. Curious to see how it all plays out.

Edit: There were some drops including this nice throw to UDFA cropper (who prob would've been lit up, tho). His INT was dumb, and I think he knew it as soon as it left his hand. The Cowboys run game was atrocious. Cooper Rush on the other side threw 2INTs including a horrible pick 6.

Not to mention this ~63 air yd completion to Mingo.

Excuse me, could you summarize New England sports fans? Imagine 16 pages of arguing posts about a 3rd string rookie QB after being traded away for a pick worth a bag of nachos with a pick worth an empty bag of nacho crumbs.

Ugh, nevermind.

We could get him back for the same price, maybe less.

They can claim him on the waiver wire for free in a few days...
Quite possible, but would they?

They would need to have a chat with Milton and be convinced he wouldn’t be disruptive.

Who else does Dallas have at QB?

Dak, Milton, and Will Grier.

This kid seems like an idiot. He is making excuses for his inability to put any touch on the ball and said if you can't catch my 100 mph slant routes you should be out of the league.

He doesn't understand touch, right out of his own mouth. It's mind blowing to me. His NFL career is going to be Not For Long.

I will never forget that throw Brady made in 2014 divisional game against Baltimore to Brandon Lafell. Lafell ran a go route down the sideline and Brady dropped it in bucket at the goal line right over the corner's head just before the safety got there.

Unless Milton looks outstanding, one has to think that they'll pick up a QB cut from another team after Week 1 when contracts are no longer guaranteed. Heck, if it were me I'd just roll the dice and grab two backups as neither Milton nor Grier should give fans any confidence.

For that matter I don't see why they wouldn't cut Milton and then sign him to the practice squad as it's doubtful anyone else would take him. Why keep him on the roster and let him collect a year's salary? It's only $1 million - which would be cheap for a backup QB - but he's not there and may never be.

At this point all of his receivers are pissed at him because he's making them look bad when they're trying to make the team.

It will be interesting to see how he does Friday

It's actually not that uncommon especially among stronger QBs - although in this case I think that's just the tip of the iceberg with him.

But if there was one criticism of Bledsoe it was that he often would force throws and would put the same pepper on short throws that he did with some of those awesome 30 yard clothesline passes.

The big "ah ha" moment for me was when I saw Brady so much more effective with the softer, safer, short pass game, that many jealous fans would criticize as a "system"

I'm a BIG Bledsoe fan but that was a clear difference maker for Brady early on, and of course over time Brady could basically do everything but always knew when nuance was needed.

Milton's arm is good enough where I think he'd be great on someone's practice squad but isn't close to being an adequate backup.

I remember Grogan would blow up his receivers early in his career.

I thought it was the receivers’ fault until I learned more.

Have you all heard the term about a player being coachable?

Well, here is a player who isn’t.

The Pats kept that hidden last year since all I heard was that he was a great teammate.

Even his interviews sounded good.

He's shown to throw with touch plenty of times. A few throws were even close to too soft. It's kindof a silly question for people that watch him actively. Problem is that rockets to WRs trying to make the team because they're on the bubble are prob not gonna get caught because they're worse than Polk.

That being said, there's no denying he's had a serious accuracy problem this preseason. Enough so it can't be just on the WR (like everyone's blaming Douglas for a Maye "overthrow" last year).
