I first heard the guy last year when Dallas beat Indy for their first loss....He said to Peyton and I'm paraphrasing..Champ champ what happened out there looked like you got hit with the old twenty three skiddoo...and dopey Manning looked at him like he just pissed in his milk.

According to Dale and Holley it was a radio personality from Dallas. Was with a program called "The Ticket" IIRC.

The BaD Radio Show (short for Bob and Dan) is a midday radio program on KTCK, "1310AM, The Ticket". The show is hosted by Bob Sturm and Dan McDowell and airs Monday to Friday from 12pm to 3pm.

1920s Reporter Guy - A segment where Scoops Callahan (aka Tom Gribble) asks celebrities questions in an Edward G. Robinson voice and 1920s slang. His most notable appearance was after a Dallas Stars/ Phoenix Coyotes game when he approached a defeated Wayne Gretzky. Scoops' past interviews have included Mack Brown, Vince Young, Sidney Crosby, Peyton Manning, Lebron James (twice), Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Roger Clemens, Wade Phillips, Will Smith, Tom Brady, and Bill Belichick.

Once again this board demonstrates it's pathological lack of humor.

Funny in theory, but the gag bit it in the execution. If "1920s Reporter Guy" is going to be your shtick, you might want to be able to do a better 1920's newsreel reporter voice.

The group of people who continue to pile on a guy - to HIJACK threads with this moronic crap - need to just stop being a-holes. Let it go. It's unfair and unnecessarily harsh. TALK FOOTBALL, please. And try being human beings, as well.

He brought it on himself with his antics over the years. The mild ribbing from the original joke is far less offensive than calling people a-holes.

Besides, it was funny.

I can't decide which is more annoying... his 10 years of repetitive drivel, personal threats, and profanity laden verbal assaults, or your ball washing of him at every turn when the SLIGHTEST jab is directed his way.

You dont have to decide...both are equally annoying.
