I know that it was meant to be a joke, but couldn't

you have used a description other than "altzheimers"

in your thread title?

I think a lot of 50+ men cringed when they read this.....Not taking a shot, but it was insensitive, imo.

I can't remember if I cringed or not. You see when I get to this site in the morning and start checking out......................what was the question again?

Why do people take an off the cuff Title so seriously? I'm sure the poster realizes that Alzheimer's is serious and all but I'm also sure he wasn't trying to offend any of you.

Some people are so sensitive. My father has it at 87 and we deal with it. He still lives with my mom (younger) and splits time at our house to give my mom a break. Anyone who has had someone with it knows what you go through but I agree with people here. Lighten up. My brothers and I make joke about us getting it all the time. Although I don't think Mora has it, it isn't a crime to make a joke about it. It's a crime to treat them with no dignity and that's pretty hard to do from a message board.
