Why isn't Jim Caldwell's decision to call timeout with 40 seconds left while the Jaguars had a 2nd and 2 in their own territory getting more attention? IMO, this is clearly worse than the 4th and 2 call that we heard about in the media for two months last year. The Jaguars were playing for OT. After the timeout, the colts had to defend against the big play, so the Jags were still able to work the middle of the field with a timeout in their pocket. This caused them to have a couple of big gains setting up a chance for a long fg.
Maybe not thread worthy, but I can't believe that no one (both in this forum and in the media) is talking about what a truly terrible decision it was.
