Coples was supposed to've been a SuperFreak Prospect, but I never trusted the guy and gave'm an OverRated Grade back in 2012. The Passion just never seemed to be there.

Interested in seeing if BB puts in a claim. Even if he doesn't get that far we will still know if there was interested in there. I just can't see BB passing up a guy that would cost about a $500k cap hit the rest of the season and could increase your DL depth even more unless he just doesn't rate him at all.

I would be shocked, absolutely shocked if we cut Siliga. He is a top 15 run stopping DT.

Honestly, a worse punishment for having our first round pick stripped would be to be forced to have the player on the top of the Jets' list be our pick. We'd probably have to live with an underachieving, overpaid turd for three or four seasons.

But i agree that Siliga is still valuable.
So who are the cuts then?
Has to be O line as crazy as that is.

He's a DE rather than a DT, so (assuming this came to pass, which I highly doubt) they could put Trey Flowers (who has yet to play a game this season, IIRC) on IR.

That does not mean anything. They probable thought lets give Bowles a shot at teaching him cutting him now gets the jets off the hook for the 8 mill next year. If he would ave got hurt, he would have hit the 2016 cap for the 8 mill

Not that I think there is any chance they would get him but why assume it would be Siliga and Jones getting cut? Flowers could find himself on IR and Tavon Wilson or Brandon King could be released.

If you can't add to the secondary then add to the front 7.
