Shame, shame, shame. This is embarrassing. The Jets first team offense is gonna end up with an 0-fer during the preseason. Wow.

No. Pumping your fist after a 3rd down scramble in the 4th quarter of a preseason game is embarrassing. Following that with a sack and an ugly interceptiion against really bad Carolina scrubs is embarrassing. Wearing an airplane hat and a cape to a football game is embarrassing. I'm sorry...what were we talking about?

The real problem with the Jets is that they are paper thin everywhere in their lineup except DE. I would have also added LB except those backups got roasted by Derek Freakin' Anderson. If the Jets don't stay insanely healthy this year they will almost certainly be in deep trouble.

At least they have the Ground and Pound. Ground is Tebow's favorite receiver and Pound is the amount of meth needed to be optimistic about the Jets' chances this year.

Jay Rothman (ESPN producer) says in the book "ESPN: Those Guys Have All the Fun" that at halftime, Namath fell flat on his face at midfield when he was introduced to the crowd.
