Ain't it the truth, rodgers has been swallowed by the stank, along with many others. It stinks so bad even they can smell it.

Same
Olde
Jest

I have covered many coaches and young players who arrive with the Jets talking about turning things around and about ending the talk of Same Old Jets. Then, at some point, you see their look change. They look beaten, perplexed and miserable after getting beaten down by the Jets’ losing ways.

Aaron Rodgers had that look Sunday, he knew he stank

Sauce Gardner has become not just a non-factor, but a detriment. He's got the Zach Wilson syndrome, he's seeing ghosts.

The problem for the Jets going forward is that Gardner plays for New York team and has a “cool” nickname (not a negative nickname, like “toast.) By the code of NYC sports, teams have to overpay to keep a guy like that.

Watching AR upright AND failing spectacularly : a pleasure.

Also in the news : Sanchez is only 38 !?!!

I see your point, but I don't think Ahole is a victim, I think he's a culprit. He brought his own brand of stank with him. He was old and washed before he got to NJ. The SOFJ front office thought he was a franchise-level QB, whereas Green Bay knew he wasn't and had already drafted his successor. Same goes for Davante Adams. Old and slow and washed, more name than game, yet the Jete and their fan base had giant hard-ons for him.

Quotes from the linked article:

He looks nothing like the old Aaron Rodgers, just an old Aaron Rodgers.
It looks like Rodgers has fallen off the cliff.
As for Rodgers, people will forget about this Jets stint because that is what it has been – utterly forgettable. It will be a footnote in his great career like the Chargers are for Johnny Unitas and the Rams are for Joe Namath.
Another trend with the Jets through the years has been young, good players getting beaten down by the losing. You can sense that now happening with Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardner and Breece Hall.
Gardner seems stunned by this season and you can feel his frustration growing.
It would be sad to see the Jets move on from Gardner, Wilson or Hall for Jets fans. But it might be a relief after all this losing for the player.
Haason Reddick was invisible Sunday.
Rodgers averaged 4.3 yards per attempt on Sunday, looking afraid to throw it deep.

Looks like their beat writer has thrown in the the towel. This is their equivalent of Mike Reiss and he's all out on Rodgers. Here's what he wrote last week after da Jete lost to us:

Rodgers is now eight games into his second season with the Jets and his tenure has been a total disaster. No one can blame him for the injury in his first season but his play in the second season has not been good. There have been flashes of the old Rodgers, but he has mostly looked just like an old Rodgers.
There is a saying about quarterbacks that someone told me a long time ago and it sticks with me. Good quarterbacks hide your team’s warts and bad quarterbacks expose them.
When Rodgers was at his best in Green Bay all those years, it didn’t matter if the defense was not terrific or if he did not have the best supporting cast around him. Rodgers was so good, he hid the warts. Rodgers is now on the other side. He is exposing the Jets’ warts. The running game stinks. The offensive line is struggling and we overrated the weapons and the defense.

Da Jete are covered with warts. The OL has sucked for years now. This means they can't run the ball and don't have time for pass plays to develop. Rodgers can't move like he used to and is afraid to hold the ball. Their defense plays without energy. Their young players have developed bad habits. Their window is closing fast. Next year will be a total reboot.

I always loved how "Revis Island" used a cool nickname and good year with the Patriots to take $33M guaranteed for two seasons off da Jete.

Comedy Gold

This season is the most spectacular Jete implosion to date. Whoever would have predicted it? I assumed they were a shoe-in for the playoffs, hopefully losing once they got there. But this is Jete suckage on steroids -- a playoff-caliber team "led" by a Hall of Fame quarterback, that dumps its No. 2 overall pick at QB, then later fires its coach and proceeds to go 1-4. That is, after signing/trading for even MORE top-shelf veteran talent.

It really is remarkable.
Every year they suck more than the last.
I wonder what the future will bring.

They deserve each other. They both suck.

It is interesting to watch all the talking heads going nuts on one of our favorite subjects, how da Jete Suck!

The difference is that it isn't a surprise to us, we knew it all along.
