You notice (when asked by someone at WEEI who can't spell) he's only speculating and not claiming to know. Still, if he guesses right everyone will assume he did...

Im pretty sure he's following the logic of Adam Schefter who's basically trusting what Troy Brown said on WEEI, which is that Brady would sign before the first preseason game against the Saints. And Brown doesnt know for sure. He's also only speculating. He just doesnt think the Pats will allow Brady to step foot on the field for even a meaningless game considering what Brady went thru 2 years ago in the first week. And if Im not mistaken, Brady didnt take a single snap that preseason before going down in week 1.
