Pro Football Combine Camp returning to area

HOUMA — When Jarvis Green started playing football in seventh grade, he didn’t last long.

“My first day I played football, I quit,” Green recalled.

Now, though, Green is entering his eighth year with the New England Patriots, following a standout career at LSU.

On Friday, Green, who was born in Thibodaux and raised in Donaldsonville, will be one of a number of former LSU and current NFL players to serve as counselors in the second-annual Pro Football Combine Camp at Nicholls State University.
