I think with a championship in hand these stats compare fairly close that you can make a case that Hurts is number 2 and your going to need a better argument than look at the OLs.And he has the benefit of the best ol and dl in the nfl.
Any JAG could win with that.
He's nowhere close to Josh Allen. What do you think Allen or Mahones would do if they had lines like that?
I like his demeanor but he's not a highly skilled qb.
Maye and Daniels will be both be head and shoulders better.
He can be a top 6-10 guy, which is good.
I don't see him being a top 5 guy consistently, especially once Daniels and Maye have a few years under them.
And Maye gets a legit ol and wr.
That'll take a few years.
Mac Jones would have been a SB champ with that much talent on that Eagles team.
I still don’t buy into Hurts.
Actually, is was the National Championship Game that he was benched at halftime and Tua came in as a freshman and made the famous walk off 2nd and 26 throw. Jalen had a record of 25-2 at Alabama before being benched. No one does, and yet all the kid's ever done in college and the NFL is win.
I wonder how much Saban benching him in the SEC Championship game (where he was pretty bad), for Tua Tagavailoa colored people's perceptions of him.
Seriously? Hurts is nowhere close to Allen and I'm not a big Allen fan.I think with a championship in hand these stats compare fairly close that you can make a case that Hurts is number 2 and your going to need a better argument than look at the OLs.
They're not that different.Seriously? Hurts is nowhere close to Allen and I'm not a big Allen fan.
If you gave Allen the same ol,wrs,te and dl his #'s would be ridiculous.
Cmon man,be serious.
FIFY. Tom was Brian Griese's backup at Michigan in 1997 when they won the national championshipHe joins a very short list of starting QBs that has won a National Championship and a Super Bowl

His throwing is underrated. The 46 yd TD pass to Smith was perfect, the same pass Mahomes hit Worthy on that everyone raved about. His throws down the sideline are maybe the best in the league, like the 4th down to Brown where they called OPI. Brown and Smith are always making tiptoe catches leaning out of bounds, which shows Hurts’ accuracy. I can’t think of a throw he can’t make - strong, accurate arm.
He’s also a top running qb. Best at sneaks without question, to great effect, like a fullback. When a play breaks down, he has Lamar-like acceleration out of there and makes huge gainers out of them.
He’s really good.
