Last year, I think Cody Davis being absolutely brutal in punt protection had just as much to do with his struggles as anything else.

You would have us ignore injuries when evaluating performance. I guess that injured players are better to just go on IR. I guess players shouldn't playing through injuries, if the result would be reduced compensation if there is reduction in performance,

I'm willing to see what it looks like. If Cody Davis is back there as the personal protector again, well, I'd expect more of the same.

Belichick's not in the habit of paying that kind of money to a punter though. I'm thinking if Bailey were washed, they would have signed Rich Camarillo Jr. or some other bum off the street for cab fare and Papa Gino's vouchers. I mean, he cut Zoltan Mesko when many people thought he was amazing, and, turns out he was washed.

The hang times I've seen recorded from Bailey so far tells me he seems just fine.

Good move, He’s a great punter.
