We've all heard about Jacksonville's defense, but let's talk about their offense. I'm sure that BB and co. want to make Bortles beat them with his arm and take away Fournette...who's a tough, bruising back. How's their O-Line? Their other backs, receivers and TEs? What kind of defenses do you think BB and Matty P will throw at them? What matchups do you expect to see? Do you think our pass rush can get to Blake the Snake? Let's hear your guys' thoughts

It'll mostly be containing the QB and stopping fournette. Mercedes Lewis is pretty good. Their other skill positions aren't elite. The online is ok.

If the Pats don't turn it over or our online doesn't get crushed by their dline, there should be no way their Own can put up enough points to win.

Bortles is playing scared. B.B. will pounce on that. First we will take away the run.
Pass defense will gang up on the short stuff not allow the big play and give bortles throws in the intermediate range. He had been ignoring these routes and either taking off or checking down.
B.B. will, as he always does give him the throws he can’t/ won’t make and make him beat us that way.
Bold prediction, there will be 10-15 plays where bortles either throws a pick or an intrceptable ball, gets sacked, or abandons the pocket. 10 assumes it’s not a blowout and they keep running and only throw 25 or so times, 15 assumes they are behind and throwing.

Marcedes Lewis has 8 catches for 70 yards in his last 6 games. I wouldn’t worry about him

Some good info from Louis Riddick’s team at NFL Matchup:

The Jaguars play a lot of base personnel & it seems we defend it well.

Almost the same game plan against the Titans on D.

1. Contain Bortles and Fournette inside.
2. Avoid big plays. If needed, lengthen the game and they'll make a mistake.
3. Don't bite on play action. Give them the extra yard if you have to.

Bortles will not be able to make all the throws. He'll lose his patience and try to force it. We will force him to go to his 3rd and 4th reads and hopefully we'll get a couple of coverage sacks.

Bottle up bortles and contain fournette. Watch the fullback (bohanon) out of the backfield. A john kuhn type. Take away the throws in the middle.

I could see David Harris being active this week.

Bortles *can be* erratic however prepare for his best stuff'
