I've Developed a Combine Priapism for Martez Wilson

Just a friendly suggestion. Seek medical attention. Priapism can occur in persons with sickle cell anemia.

I'm mostly of Polish and other Western European descent, so sickle cell isn't really a concern.

That damn Martez Wilson, though, is really complicating things for me. I might pop if he drops to the 3rd round on draft day and we take him.

Dude was an MLB in college. Now, some media members are saying he's a 34 OLB because of his measurables? That doesn't make any sense to me. There's no evidence that he rush the passer, or set edge. I've also read that he's mostly gotten by on his physical skills in college and only started studying film this year - not a good sign. This is an example of how the combine can lead to bad conclusions.

Why are looking at the best ILB in the draft? Obviously he is worth lots more to other teams who have a need for an inside linebacker, especially given how few are available this eyar.

Evidently, you're not up to speed on the intriguing Martez Wilson, gentlemen.

As one who harbors an unhealthy OBSESSION with The Draft, may I point out an article of NFP's Wes Bunting's that you must've missed, back in October?

Did anyone else notice Illinois ILB Martez Wilson get a chance to play on the outside this week and rush off the edge?

The 6-4, 250-pound specimen finished the game this week vs. Indiana with 12 tackles, one QB hurry and was in the backfield all game long. We have always known the high-cut Wilson had the talent, but he always struck me as a player who was better suited to simply go get the football rather than try to read and react on the inside as a MLB.

Therefore, I will be really interested to see how he fares when asked to play on the outside the rest of the year, because as an NFL prospect rushing off the edge as a potential 3-4 guy is where I think this guy could have a lot of value at the next level.
