Yup - just that and the fact that 2001 was the year that the Giants switched uniforms with the Rams.

The Giants/Ravens Super Bowl was played in 2001.

The Super Bowl Championship year is the same as the season year.

The Super Bowl doesn't belong to a year, it belongs to a season. It's confusing because virtually the entire regular season occurs in one year, and then the play-offs for that season occurs in the next year. So folks should avoid labeling Super Bowls by the year they're played in.

Agreed. Everyone should just stick to roman numerals.

Sadly, the Pro Bowl will always be cause for confusion, because the primary method for naming it is by year. But it's not like the Pro Bowl matters much.
