Mac has more talent but his head remains the problem ... Zappe has the head not the talent.

We have the worst QB tandem in the league by far. Of the 2 s, my eyeballs tell me that Zappe is a little less of a greaser in the underpants than Mac so what does that mean exactly…who knows???

In all seriousness, we’ll probably see Zappe from here on out but I’d rather see Mac just to guarantee we have as high a pick as we can possibly get. In the end, we’re gonna get a top 3 pick no matter which QB sh!ts the bed for the rest of the season.

I hope that if Belichick goes back to Mac, it is in a few weeks and not next week. Give the guy time to try to get his head on straight. What Belichick is doing benching and starting him and then benching him and then starting him is just making the guy even more of a head case than he already is.

If the Pats still had Mac Jones from pre-Cowboys game, they would have probably won the last two games and possibly a game or two more. Mac has been broken since that game and he is getting worse because of all the head games.

Sort of. Mac in a vacuum is better in every measurable and frankly even today, Zappe threw more throws that should have been picked off. Dude was lucky as hell. But right now Mac breaks down fast facing adversity and crumbles and Zappe hasn't had that happen just yet... but we'll get him there.

Wow - I looked at Mac's completions, and they were for a total of -7 yards! Half of them were behind the LOS. Geez Louise what the heck kind of gameplan was this today? Looks like Zap inherited the same dink and dunk plan.

Do you guys think Mac Jones starts again next week or have we seen the end of Mac Jones as QB for the Patriots? Watching the Giants game, it’s clear as day and it’s been clear that this man isn’t a leader nor a QB. Trotting him out again only is good if you care about tanking. Personally, watching him play gives me stomach problems so I hope this is it.

I’m not convinced we’ve seen the last of Mac Jones. I can’t imagine he’ll start next week though.

Zappe never belonged in the league and should have never been drafted by us. Period.

Imho, that's just not true. Mac had 3 other throws that could've been picked off. I count 2 with Zappe. They were all bad, though.

Bill definitely could’ve handled the situation better in terms of surrounding Mac with more talent, he deserves blame for what’s happened.

But let’s not forget Mac, first round pick, college champ, franchise qbs raise the talent around them even if that talent is lackluster. He’s not mentally tough, never elevated the talent around him, wish he would of succeeded here cause I do like him but he’s not that dude, prob will never be even if surrounded with legitimate players.

If we go back to Mac, it’ll be because somehow he’s the best of 2 sh!tty choices. Mac’s not gonna get benched for a few weeks just so he can heal mentally and then get brought back as the starter. What would be the point of that? We’re way past that point.

If we’re gonna say Mac’s broken, he’s been broken since way before the Cowboys game…since some point last year honestly. But IMHO, I think it’s moreso that Mac is just a bad QB. The coaching staff and OL haven’t done him any favors, but really I think he just isn’t very good. He makes too many boneheaded decisions with the ball…whether under pressure or all alone.
