I live in China. I use a Slingbox that is connected to a DirectTV box in Montreal, so basically the TV I can watch here through Slingbox has an upstate NY feed for the US broadcast channels.

Edit: I just re-read my OP. I can see where the confusion came from by my wording.

Patjew - I know someone that has the ticket, so all I need to do is connect a sling box to their connection and I can get it??
