Patriots Rumor Is Mike’s job security in any danger now? (Vrabel Allegedly Caught Kissing Russini in New Photos 6-Years Ago)

A report indicating the Patriots are potentially in the market for this player, or have expressed or plant to express interest.
She named her new born after the guy she's having an affair with ....
Then gives Big Mike a not so cryptic shout out 4 days after Little Mike arrived.
She does seem to be a bit infatuated with him. Could be her wishful thinking acting out.

I mean, I wouldn't say it totally defines you or anything. But if you're just listing traits that make someone a good or bad person, cheating on your wife is a pretttttttty strong argument on the bad person side of the list lol
I think cheating is a common trait in bad people, sure. But so is substance abuse, but substance abuse in and of itself doesn't reflect poorly on an individual, at least in my opinion.

I just think that literally anyone can be unfaithful in the right context. It's a biological impetus.

It’s honestly surprising how quickly situations like this turn into a rush to judgment, especially from media and social platforms. There’s a tendency for people to take the moral high ground without full context, and that rarely leads to a balanced conversation.

The reality is, most people have made decisions at some point that could be questioned. That doesn’t mean every situation deserves public outrage or that it defines the person entirely.

Unless someone is directly affected, personal relationships—who someone is with or the dynamics within those relationships—are generally not something the public needs to weigh in on.

We’ve gotten to a place where it’s easy to comment on someone else’s life from a distance, often without understanding the full picture. A little more perspective—and a little less rush to judgment—would go a long way.

Pretty sad that the media or anyone outside the families are even involved in any way. Its a sad state of affairs for humankind.

Agree, because NE fans would do the same if a rival coach was caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Next season's Jete away-game should be full of snark.
I wonder what creative ideas the Bildos fans will come up with to welcome Vrabes to their new stadium?

To you it may be "Christian Sharia" to attempt to remain faithful to your vows. But if you do slip up and fall, to at least be honest about it. It's right to be disappointed in him and how he's handled this. I still hope he and his wife can repair things and that he can remain and be the great coach that he's been.
No, it’s Christian Sharia to impose religious law on everyone around you, just like the Muslim Sharia does in their theocracies.

Do you really think the lynch mob mentalityand salacious obsession fueling continued headlines about this are helping his wife reconcile with him in the situation? Or would less media pandering to the appetites of the mob make it easier for them to repair their marriage?

Honestly, if you had to choose between helping them repair their marriage, or reading more speculation and posting more critiques, which would you prefer?

I'm sure this song will follow him around

This reminds me of the line from Seinfeld: A man is only as faithful as his options.

Goes for the ladies too, though, and from what I am told, they get offered the option quite frequently.

John 7:24

24 Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” - Words of ************

There are some standards that we should attempt to live by. We are all sinners. So none of us are immune to sin. But we should say this is wrong, disappointing, harmful to himself, his family and the team etc. And Christians, some of whom are on this team are no doubt praying for Vrabel right now.
I totally agree. I think most if not all posting here would agree.

Some of us, myself included, have been pilloried for preaching that it’s wrong to judge by appearances. Ironically we’ve been attacked by those proclaiming to believe the preachings of ************, including that verse above, as they simultaneously have judged by appearances without waiting to make right judgement based on more fact.

@Boogs I’m having a hard time reconciling this post from you with some of the **** you talked about me personally earlier in this thread.

I’m also having trouble reconciling those posts, and a lot of other posts here recently, with the below. Maybe if everybody on here took a moment to consider these two Bible verses, plus your comment that I highlighted, we could stop fighting with each other so much. Not asking you to post anything, just think about those three things before you post anything more on this topic. Please?

Words of Jesus, according to John 8:7 (ESV):

And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

I don't want Vrabel to be fired but the comparison to Brady is idiotic.

Brady was banging his girlfriend, both of whom were single. A married Vrabel was banging his married mistress.
Brady dumped his girlfriend after she became pregnant. May have dumped her because she got pregnant. Or maybe got her pregnant after he dumped her. No matter which of those you choose to believe it is still sex out of wedlock.

My take is that we should let him figure out what is right or wrong for him and his family, based on his own value system and life experiences, with the family's input as well as professional counselors.

In my case my parents are divorced and their choice to divorce was right and it was helpful to all involved, despite what some religious leaders and/or pearl clutchers and/or their books might have said.

Maybe this test makes them stronger as a unit, or maybe it makes them realize it's time for a new phase of life.

The traditional family unit works for some, and not for others.
Well said.

Mike and Jen don’t need every NFL fan telling them what to do. Thats just harmful to them.

Lol all I have done the whole time is give him the benefit of the doubt and not jump to conclusions. Seems many are eager to try to think of the very worst possible interpretation, then treat that imagined situation as if it is a definitive fact, and then speak down to anyone else with any less harsh of a view.
Exactly, and then proclaim victory when facts support their interpretation, just like they are Crusaders who have just conquered the infidel.

I think you have me confused with someone else. In regards to the top line here.

I needed to respond to a Bible verse and another post about sins and condemnation
Not arguing, in fact agreeing.

Best response is to take them to heart. And show that in your choices going forward.

It’s hard to passionately proclaim virtues you hold strongly without sometimes violating other virtues you hold. It’s especially hard to make considered choices between those two virtues in the middle of an internet flame fest.

Good luck with that!

I would choose that they can reconcile and get help and get right with God, for sure. But probably slim chance they can save their marriage though with it looking like an affair back 6+ years. Most marriages wouldn't survive this.

Possibly I have conflated some of your comments with comments by some others where you’re all taking similar positions.

I’m still pretty sure you’ve taken some personal swipes at me, and I’m certain that you’ve not been as bad as some others.

But then you went and posted something reasonable for me to try commenting on constructively, while the most egregious folks haven’t yet shown any inclination to be reasonable.

No, I didn't take any personal swipes at you. I'd remember it if I did.

Thanks for saying I made a reasonable post though

Vrabel/Russini is not comparable to Tom/Bridget in any way. Tom/Bridget was not what now looks like a 6+ year affair between two people married to other people - and they were broken up a while before she was discovered she was pregnant.

Also no Vrabel and his wife are not poly.

Carry on.

I’m on the same page, rooting for them to reconcile and get right with each other as well as with God. I’m hopeful they can save the marriage, but it’ll be an uphill battle for them. Not just an affair going so many years, but also in the glare of the spotlight. It’s going to be tough, especially for Mike because he’s obviously got more than a casual fling going on with Dianna. And Jen’s going to have to make tough choices about whether she’d rather hold a grudge or heal their relationship. It ain’t going to be easy for them! But I wish them both the best, whatever that turns out to be.

TMZ says the photographer was not a PI hired by one of their spouses.

I don’t believe it’s a casual sports fan with a camera either like TMZ says. It must be someone connected to Strunk. Has to be especially with the second batch of photos showing up. This is a media hit.

Depending how things unfold there is a non-zero chance that this could cost Vrabel his job.

This doesn’t appear to be going away, and the fact that he is missing the last day of the draft shows that it IS affecting his job.

It would be disastrous for the Pats after last season was such an auspicious debut.

Make better decisions Mike.
