Seems there are 3 different issues:
1) The fact there is an affair
2) The fact that he executed the affair so poorly
3) The fact that he handled the post-discovery phase so poorly

As above, if the team executes well at the start of the season it'll all fade into the noise, and that's the most likely outcome.

Yet if the team stumbles, and his ability to lead seems to be impaired, and if more women pop out of the woodwork, it could be trouble.

If more things pop out of the woodwork, it may get to the point where Vrabel can't handle it. Maybe he can, I don't know.

A huge potential problem is if one or both of her kids is his. I mean she actually tweeted out looking at her 4 day old son wondering what great coaches and NFL players have the same name. If it's his kid, that's another blow to his wife and more drama that the media would run with. I don't see many marriages surviving a 6 + year affair let alone anything like the potential addition of what I just said. And how's that going to affect him?

I see what you're trying to say.. but I really don't believe anything is tarnished..this is a personal matter separate from anything team related.. furthermore the biggest of all hurdles was the NFL.. they put out a statement that they were no longer looking into the matter.. that right there is the end of it.. whenever a coach,player, staffer gets cleared by the NFL that's usually it.. everything else is for the media to exploit.. remember once Brady took his suspension? That was the end of it! Personally my opinion of Vrabel hasn't changed. He's still a dam good coach and the teams stands behind him.. I'm looking forward to the season!

Oh most definitely!! And that's likely why RK and the team felt confident! If Vrabel was accused on something physical with assault or something totally different ball game.. but however the biggest thing for a player, coach, ect is having to deal with the league they are in. Everything else is for the media to eat up!
