If matters continue more or less as they are, should the Krafts fire Mayo at season's end?

Daniel’s, Williams, Bo Nix, Enough is enough
Can Maye play or not?

We can wish, or pry Kliff Kingsbury from Washington away from Daniel’s to work with Maye.

I’m concerned Mayo and AVP could negatively effect Maye.
Maybe Kingsbury would do better on a second go round... Honestly, I have no idea... I had not thought of him as a HC prospect... An OC last year yes but not as a head coach

Anyone who thought replacing the best coach of all time, a defensive unit, even one who lost his fast ball with a ROOKIE coach who's speciality is defense and didn't understand it wasn't going to work definitely doesn't have a full grasp on how the current NFL works.

I'm guessing they have the worst 5 year stretch here in offensive play in NFL history. Hiring a defensive minded coach was always ridiculous.

The Commanders hired a defensive HC. They just hired a real OC

Mayo will be the coach at least through 2026. Lieve with it or continue to be disappointed and whine. There is no way that Kraft was going to hire Mayo and then not give him as least 2 years. Actually, I would think that 3 is all but guaranteed.

That being said, the OC is on a short leash and could (and should) be the scapegoat at any time after the end of this season.

I don't think any fan saw this as an 8 win team, but they are inept. What's the cause?
In order ?

Bad players
Bad coaching
Injuries to the better of the bad players

Once you get past their complete and total lack of magical powers?
Poor roster
Relatively inexperienced coaching staff
Shortage of lockeroom leadership.
And a ****ton of fans who have limited experience with the kind of ugly losses that come with everything listed above.

But yeah, mostly it's the lack of magical powers

Figured itd be a bumpy year and he’ll be making mistakes with the rest of the team. Inept qb play is also going to hamper him until maye is able to start. Good qbs always make their coaches look better and bad qbs do the opposite.

Today was beyond putrid on his part though, even for a first year hc. there were just too many missteps to name today that was the result of bad coaching and situational awareness. Id say hopefully he can bounce back next week but this was already his 2nd ‘bounce back attempt’ in a row.

The Krafts belong at the top of the list.
Their Kraft hired, Kraft Group inspired, newly reconfigured management team is directly responsible for bad players / bad coaches

Note: Jonathon's NE Revolution has the 2nd most losses in the MLS

They are 2 plays away from being 3-2

Couldve made the same argument for last years 4-11 team. The record is what you are and his performance has gotten worse by the week. Lets just hope he learns and grows. The guy was always known as a leader and supposedly smart so theres that

Dysfunctional Ownership.
A coach who has no business being a HC.
Bad staff.
A GM showing why Bill went rogue on prior to the "collaboration".
Severe lack of talent.
Bad uniforms.

No he does not!
