Is Brady Entering his final year?

Really? That sounds more like YOU.

I think that it actually helps the team especially in the whole Brady/Garappollo thing.. The team has extreme motivation, and they can negotiate with JAG.. etc. I think knowing Brady's final season before it starts is helpful actually, for the team.
The team will probably be the only people, outside of immediate family, to know when that happens.

Brady is so very conscience about his public image, I doubt he would announce his retirement a year early. If he did it would be behind closed doors.

OK. I can see that. But Brady has definitely change his public ways some. I could see him trying to get miles out of it. "TB Times" for example is something that I think we would be lying we would say we thought Belichick would be all for that kind of thing. Never would have pictured Brady doing that thing in seasons past.

Brady has changed a lot in recent seasons with his Social Media and things like "TB Times:, etc, so he might surprise you.

This post was a bemused speculative addendum to my post above. I hadn't realized one is required to be so rigorously serious here, but I suppose such prigs as you are to be found everywhere.
In other words you don't even agree with what you said

I respect your reply, but I disagree.
Belichick is all about value & Garoppalo's value will never be higher than it was during the draft.

Belichick would not go from a potential top 12 pick to maybe a third rounder to keep Garoppalo for one year.

I hope I am wrong, but I agree with the guy who started this thread.

Only time will tell.
You are wrong.
And he isn't "keeping him for one year".
He is keeping him in the event he is needed this year, or in the event something changes with Brady. Since Brady is 40 it's common sense to keep your insurance policy as long as possible.
Brady will break down someday. Whatever the chance is that it will be in the next 9 months is the chance he is insuring against.

Or you could just make up a crazy answer say you interpret every nuetral or non-communal action to be proof of your conclusion and dismiss every fact that disputes your position because "belichick wouldn't do that".

Unless the wheels fall off in the next 9 months BB will keep the best QB in the NFL as his QB.

Brady is bigger than Bird in this town by a lot. If the Celtics had ever traded Bird there would have been a revolt. Brady is the one play BB will not do this to and I think Kraft would not allow it. Notice I did not say this might not be his last year though. I think if 2017 or 2018 is his last year it is because Brady chooses to retire.\

Also, Adam Jones is an idiot.
Birds career was short due to injury. Had he tried to play 20+ years, he easily could have been traded.

Also, you can't compare basketball to football.

Could we maybe date all the "Brady is gone" threads? We could just post one every day, that way. Hell, maybe Ian could create a subforum for it.
I actually posted this thread just to get under your skin.

Did it work?

Kraft values BB's opinion more than Tom Brady's....think about that and let it sink in

Anytime I heard Adam Jones talk the Pats, he was always looking for the turd in the soup bowl. Never had a positive spin at all. I only listened on late drives home when the other choice was Mike Adams.

Does anyone know what team is his that the Pats have embarrassed repeatedly over the years?
Yes. Felger and Mazz...

The one thing I can guarantee is that Brady won't play out his career here if he dreams of playing until he's 45

You can disagree or click on funny but what I just wrote is the absolute truth.

How do you know that?

I'll guarantee the opposite, Brady will play 4 more years, at least, and retire having only played for one team.

Yours is the more likely scenario of the two. But I'm not gonna worry about it. I just plan to enjoy the hell out of watching the GOAT play for as long as he plays.

Belichick always trades players just as they decline slightly

So I'm basing it on Belichick's history and lack of emotion regarding such decisions

Let's play pretend. OP, you be Fred. I'll be Will.

You can stop it at about 1:25.

Yes I can.

LOL. Belichick is not trading Brady if he is playing like Brady. Belichick likes Super Bowl championships.
In other words, there is NO transition to Jimmy, if Brady is throwing 40 TDs 3 INTs and winning Super Bowls... NONE. Jimmy walks to any team he wants if Brady is still doing that. The thing is actually much simpler than everyone is making it.
