Is a Parsons trade realistic?

Dallas needs to restock
May be a last place finish in the NFC east

Parsons traded to Green Bay.

Two - 1sts and Kenny Clark - DT.

Signed a 4yr/$188M deal with 136M guaranteed

This is very uncharacteristic of GB to do. He's not Reggie White going to the 90's Packers.

I wonder what position the Cowboys will be drafting in the draft?

True, although Reggie White was a FA signing.

Honestly, this makes all the sense in the world for the Packers. Your defense is dogshit, Kenny Clark's been a whiny diva all camp (And is in the wrong side of 30), and you give up 2 picks which will be in the mid-late 20s at worst to give you a perennial all-pro when your defense sorely needs it. Their secondary is still ass, but Parsons and Gary makes for a real pass rush. And Love's big money doesn't kick in until 2027. They're the right team to make a move like this, good for them.

Dallas has apparently joined the March for Arch, now.

Negotiations not going well (so it appears). would Jerry really let him go?

I would've offered our two 1sts - which will be Much better than GB's - and their choice of Barmore. Mr Grumpy White, or Williams.

What would that have done? Other than add 30 million to the payroll, and make the middle of the D-line a lot worse? Not to mention not having 2 first round picks the next 2 years?

Uhhh... besides getting Micah Parsons?

And the middle of our DL can't - or won't - stop the run anyway, unless you believe that Tonga is all that and a bag of chips...

Yes, you get Micah Parsons and his back issues and 47 mil/yr and the 12 sacks he got last year.

He's a great player. Lawrence Taylor he is not.

Arch in Dallas would be a fun show.

I thought Arch was going to stay in college longer though?

Was reading the back issues were a ruse.
