One of the better threads I'll put it that way. Worth a view.

Really good stuff, particularly the part about the locker room and keeping things in control...

Mayo is a long time favorite...

Good to see he is doing well, and is still involved with the team. For all the draft complaints, this man was one of the hits. Never complains and calls attention to himself, but is consistently there to make plays for the Pats and is a true leader on the team.

I hope he heals up quickly, and look forward to seeing him back on the field making tackles.

Id love to see him coaching for us after his long and prosperous career.

Mayo speaks really well. I've noticed that before in his press conferences. Not just vocally well, but he's articulate. That indicates a level of intelligence...probably why he was captain.

Slight segue. Every time I see a piece about a Pats player, I can't help but notice how mature and professional they sound. Even the young guys. No juvenile swagger. We all know where that comes from. It's the much venerated "Patriot Way". It's apparent in every aspect of this organization, and especially in how our personnel conduct themselves.

Man, I love this organization! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like I'm part of this big ol' family run by this very accomplished but super nice grandpa (Mr. Kraft). No dumb drama, no shenanigans. Just honest to goodness hard work, a very healthy dose of community outreach and philanthropy, and then some elite level football.
