Patriots 2022 Draft- Grand Slam by Bill Belichick. Man, what a draft.

1) Cole Strange OL

2) Tyquan Thornton WR

3 ) Marcus Jones CB

4) Jack Jones CB

4) Bailey Zappe QB

4) Pierre Strong RB

4) Kevin Harris RB

6) Sam Roberts DL

6) Chasen Hines C

7) Andrew Steuber OT

You mean the draft where Wolf and Groh first had input.. Yep.. Very telling.

2006: Drafted Chad Jackson over Greg Jennings
2009: Drafted Brandon Tate over Mike Wallace
2010: Pass up on Golden Tate in Round 2, Drafted Taylor Price in Round 3.
2012: Drafted Jake Bequette over Ty Hilton
2013: Drafted Aaron Dobson over Keenan Allen. Also Drafted Josh Boyce
2014: Drafted a backup QB in Round 2, over Jarvis Landry
2017: Drafted Derek Rivers over Chris Godwin in Round 3.
2018: Passed up DJ Moore, Calvin Ridley, Courtland Sutton with 2 first round picks.
2019: Drafted N'Keal Harry over Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown, Dk Metcalf, and Terry McLaurin.
2020: Traded out of first round and drafted a D2 safety over Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, and Michael Pittman.
2022: Traded up in the 2nd round to draft Tyquan Thornton over George Pickens.
2023: Pass up on Jordan Addison and Zay Flowers in Round 1. Drafted Keion White in Round 2 over Jaylen Reed and Rashee Rice.
2024: Drafted Ja'Lynn Polk over Ladd McKonkey.

Always love when people like you show a lack of understanding by looking at things in a vacuum. Feel free to go back to 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018, etc, and make sure you add in what the team composition was like.

2009 - Wallace wasn't a kick returner
2010 - The Pats had Moss and Welker already. Yeah, adding Golden Tate would have been nice and not sure why they chose Price at that point>
2012 - Lamenting taking Bequette over Hilton makes no sense. The Pats needed DE help. Not WR help.
2014 - Pats already had Dobson, Amendola, Edelman. How could they foresee Dobson's injury?
2017 - Well known that Belichick hated the talent in the 2017 draft. Which is why they traded so many of their picks. They also had Edelman, Hogan and Amendola as their top 3 receivers. Not to mention Gronk.
2018 - They added Wynn and Michel. Without those two, the Pats don't win the SB..
2020: They drafted a "D2 Safety" who's become wone of the best in the league. And they needed said safety at the time.
2022: Pickens? PICKENS? *ROFLMAO* Guy is a f'in headcase and he'd have been cut ala Jack Jones
2023: You're whining because the Pats took All-Pro Christian Gonzalez over Jordan Addison or Zay Flowers?? Keion White is a better player than Jaylen Reed or Rashan Rice.

2024: Belichick wasn't the one drafting. That was all Wolf.
