Redskins Won't Trade Trent Williams This Season, Considering Offseason Deals

"...hasn’t stopped the Browns from aggressively pursuing him. Garafolo notes that Browns general manager John Dorsey has inquired on Williams every week for the past month and a half. Dorsey previously said that “it takes two to tango” when discussing a Williams trade, indicating the Redskins aren’t especially interested in moving the lineman."

Another example of how the Redskins organization is functionally ******ed.

Yes! I called it last night. I hope we sign him and release Richards. Beast ST!! Has been for years.

Not every day a 3 time Pro Bowl gunner is available.

Stats show hes tailed off some?

Emmanuel sanders to the 49ers, damn ! That team looks really good. For a 3rd and 4th, they get back a 5th per bspn

Yep, they swung a much Much better deal with Denver than Bill did with Atlanta (& a former protege, to add insult to insult).

And while Bill continues to add redundancy on top of redundancy, our OL & TE/FB rooms are not nearly championship-calibre...to put it kindly...

Sanu is younger, half the cap hit and signed through next year. Hard to acquire Sanders and stay under the cap. Several other teams were interested in Sanu so a late 2 reflects market realities.

I'm hoping that the Patriots can somehow swing a Trade for Vaitai from the Eagles. He's currently their #4 OT. Not because he sucks, but because they have Peters, Johnson and rookie Dillard ahead of him.. He started in place of Peters in the SB and played exceptionally well against us..
