Yeah we just don't know what editing has happened here. But regarding Casario being in charge. I think he is the face of the deals so that on the phone he can still say ok that sounds good but we will call you back i have to get Bill (and Kraft's) approval.

It keeps a buffer between the deal allowing them to think it over one last time. It also allows Bill to go at any point when he is on the phone ok that sounds good but Nick is on the phone atm to another team i will call you back after we know what the offer is. e.t.c
