Armstead was with vereen last week on the practice field working on their rehabilitation. It was released on a report that I got from the patriots app. Through patriots.com.

He was cut for two reasons:

1. He didn't get along with Jerry Jones, not at all

2. DUI a few weeks after his teammate was killed in a drunk-driving accident.

Jerry Jones is friends with Kraft--wonder if that works into any possible discussion.

I would say that Ratliff, as a 3-4 NT, is exactly the kind of player the Patriots need right now.

Ratliff and his agent have consistently said that he is too injured to play at all this year.

I'm confused because these two guys have huge potential, and given our shallow depth at DT and WR, I wonder why not unleash these two? (unless they're still hurting, but that's the not what I'm hearing).

What are you hearing, and from who?
I think its pretty obvious, they will be on the field when they are ready. The first eligible day passing without them being ready isn't really news.
