Brandon Moore picks retirement over Dallas Cowboys - NFL.com

It's a tradition around here, whenever heroes of the Patriots leave or retire, we salute them.

Who can forget those great moments in Patriots history?
Squish the Fish?
The Snow Bowl tuck rule and kick?
Brady's first Super Bowl MVP?
The Buttfumble?

We'll never tire of watching those videos. Whenever those games are replayed on television, we'll watch. We look forward to the 10-story banners featuring those plays unfurling on the sides of the stadium.

Let's take a moment to reflect.

And someday, hopefully, Moore's "bust" will be in the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Thanks for the memories.
Best wishes and good health, Brandon Moore.

If I ran the Pats HoF, I would set up a video room with a giant IMAX-sized screen and state of the art surround sound where that play would be run over and over and over again, 24 hours a day.

That would make a good thread of it's own. Top 10 plays in Patriot's history by opposing players. The Sanchez\Moore butt fumble would certainly be on the list. While not a play Ricky Proehl saying "tonight a dynasty is born" is still #1 with me.

The funny thing is he was actually a really good guard and the Pats could have used him.

I remember that well, and thinking "That's awfully tempting for Karma. She loves stuff like that". Sure enough, Karma made him regret those words.

Butt fumble aside, I wish him a happy retirement. He played well for the Jets and, if there is such a thing, he was one of the more likable Jets of all time.

Ok, back to butt fumble jokes.

You forgot Mo Lewis.

What good is this thread without this?

Apparently his career has bottomed out. Looking behind, thanks for the memories.
