I agree with the OP mostly (disagree with abandoning the run entirely since you need it to set up the play action)
But what I'm tired of is the same tired script. Pats go on road, play team with wild crowd, grab the lead, refuse to put the other team away and keep giving them second chances, give the ball back, watch as the other team marches downfield at will and wins it at the end.
We saw in Baltimore tonight. We saw it in Buffalo last year. We saw it in Indianapolis at least twice. I get that over time, these types of losses will happen, but dear God, could the Pats just ice the game for once in these games? As soon as they punted it, it was obvious what was coming next.
