Both players are finally about to enjoy a trip to the Super Bowl after being on a miserable unorganized Jets team who choked twice in a row in the AFC Title game.

After both players left the field dejected in late Januarys of 2009 and 2010,in 2011 they came to New England who knows how to get the job done and win the AFC Title.

Congratulations to Shawn and James....as the old saying goes "3rd time is a charm" .... and hopefully they get a well earned ring for their career and contribution to this team.

Yeah,Ellis has not been much but for all the hard work and years he has spent in this league,he deserves a chance for a ring.

Ihedigbo was a great addition at safety, while he is not the most talented guy,I think he kept the safety position from falling apart when Chung went down and how tough he is when in just about every game this year he got injured and then back up and ready for the next snap.

This. He doesn't get a lot of credit, but he deserves more. He may not be the most talented or the best safetly, but he works his ass off and he was as tough as nails.

Thanks James! We couldn't be where we are today without you.

Congrats Shaun too.

Ihedigbo has the smarts to make up for what he lacks in talent.
