If you had to choose only one: re-sign Welker, or re-sign Talib?

Suppose you were faced with the choice - an either/or scenario - with one of these two options: which would you prefer?

Option 1: re-sign Welker and go with a secondary combination of Dennard/Dowling/McCourty/Arrington/Gregory

Option 2: re-sign Talib and go with a WR corps of Lloyd/Edelman/Slater/JAG


What I'm really getting at here is whether or not you'd prefer for the Patriots to put their money into the receiving corps or the defensive backfield, if you had to pick one over the other.

I mean, ideally, they'd be able to improve both areas but let's say that's not possible.

Of your two choices, I'd go with Talib because I think we need to reboot the WR position and this is the draft to do it.

I actually prefer a 3rd option which is to re-sign Vollmer and draft pretty much only WR's and CB's. At least that way we might get a hit or three.
