Easily Demarcus Ware. There's an outside LB that can get after it. His tackling is now solid and the guy is a great learner. 34 OLB and a 43 DE. Talk about versatility.

IMO you MUST pick a defensive player. The Patriots defense has more room to improve than the offense.

I would pick:

1) Suh
2) Ngata
3) Sapp in his prime

For me, the DLine is where, if you can get talent, you get it. Can you, for the love of god picture, Wilfork, Haynsworth, Suh. I mean, honestly. I could play CB in that defense.

Well I'd have to say Mr. Darelle Revis. He really is the BEST CB in my HO.

And I'm one who routinely complains about his holding, but the funny part is that he doesn't even need to!

He is truly such a gifted player and it sucks that he's playing for the team that I hate above all other teams!

Plus, despite the defense rising, we cooed most certainly take the help. I love ed reed but he is a little too old For my liking. (not sure of what rules we're playing by lol so I'm going current payers at current age)

No brainer here. For active players, definitely Ed Reed. No one else would make every other single member of the defense BETTER. He would be the Tom Brady of defense. I've been saying since Rodney retired that we're one special safety away from a dominant defense.

For retired player, LT or Barry Sanders.

I think an elite pass rusher would really solve our defensive woes. Someone like Demarcus Ware.

I would choose Haloti Ngata for the defense. Retired player for the defense Rodney Harrison.

Offense, Adrian Peterson. Retired Player Walter Payton.

Reed is the obvious choice.

We would be going from a STer starting at safety, to a HoFer. Probably the best playmaking safety ever. We couldn't get anywhere near that level of improvement at any other position.

We don't need an NT.

I love Calvin, but he would be a very marginal upgrade on this offense.

AP would be interesting, as would McFadden, but again, running the ball isn't exactly a weakness.

I'm leaning on Ngata, but DE isn't a weakness either, it's just not stellar.

I think either of Ware or Reed would need to be the answer here seeing as how OLB and FS are as bad as they are, and these guys are playing at HoF level.

a stacked D, an evolving running game and Brady working with what he has is fine with me. As it stands we have 5 clutch sure handed players in Welker, Branch, Gronk, Hernandez and Woodhead.
