I say the Pats will lose one of their away games.

And the Chiefs will lose both of theirs.

Aside from the Bengals, that's a pretty stacked conference from where we sit today. The injury bug may tear both the Chargers and the Texans apart at any minute, though.

I agree, unless they somehow learn to stop playing zone. Which, I think they tried somewhat last time and met with pretty much the same lack of success.

Our margin of error might be thin down the stretch.

Chiefs could easily go 13-3 with that schedule. Which then would mean we could only afford to lose one more game down the stretch in order to get the top seed.

I was thinking that it might be a bit early for this discussion but I'm glad that you brought it up.

Here's what I'd like to see happen. I'd like to see the AFCS winner tie with Indy, win on tiebreakers and come in with a worse record than either the Ravens, Chargers or both.

If the Dolphins could pass Cincy or the Chargers that would also be nice. I get tired of hearing the AFCE being put down, even though the Fins and Bills have both made the playoffs recently.

In the NFC I overall don't care all that much, but I would really like to see Philly miss the playoffs. That would make things much more fun for me. Throw in GB and Rodgers being dumped from the playoffs for a little icing on the cake, but that's not as necessary.

Right now all of those things are possible.

We need to stay one back of KC and hold serve: they have a couple of Tough Road Games coming up winnable nonetheless.

They were a Jesse James overturn away from winning last year and running Brady’s regular season record at Heinz Field to 3-3, so whatever coverage they played seemed to work more effectively than some of us realize.

They may not be on the same level as us, but I don’t agree with the automatic assumption that we’ll win there on the road “just because.” Ben plays much better at home, and they’re dangerous on offense. I just don’t see it as a gimme game, that’s all.

Not the mention RB James Conner *A player I liked* Patriots Scouting department bless em I tell ya. Pittsburgh got Two Starters from that Third Round JuJu" Smith-Schuster being the other. On James Conner he has almost 600yds Rushing and over 300 receiving complete RB?? I think so they don't miss Mr Bell.

I have zero fear of a playoff game in Arrowhead. Unless they're bringing Montana out of mothballs.

Aside from them trailing almost the entire game last year and then almost losing it in the final minute, I’d say it isn’t a tough game either.
