Sanders has not practiced all week and is a good possibility to not play this Sunday. This will be an opportunity for the rooks to step in and see some action. Something definitely to keep an eye on.

This would be a good week against a weaker offense too. Please edit the title, I figured you meant James Sanders

GOOD NEWS if it's the James variety of Sanders ..........why? Because the dude can't tackle for one and he just never makes any big plays. Merriweather has far more potential and I'm looking forward to seeing him play split safety for an entire game.

Sanders is useless unfortunately.

I think i agree on one thing with felger.let this guys go on single coverage with a merriweather [as he is fast] deep for help. We try too much to play safe and no put our front seven to do some damage. we always have a OLB or ILB in coverage to provide help.

We will give out big plays for sure but also stop the opponents while developing our young DB

:agree:, especially about the conservative play style we've had, though I understand why they've rolled that way. Maybe it's time to unleash the hounds a little bit, even if only from a developmental standpoint. They'll crank it up in November but it wouldn't be such a bad idea to test those waters a bit even now.

Yeah, if they don't average 6 picks a year and blow everyone up they sure must suck.
