Can you imagine the heart break of being 38 years old and losing in the divisionals again if you're Junior still playing for the Chargers? After all those years, all those coaches, all those playoff attempts, you would still be home on the sofa Sunday watching somebody else play in your gig.
It was his gig once too (vs. 49ers.) The difference is that last time he was playing against the juggernaut, and this time he gets to play *for* the juggernaut.
Like John Elway, a lot of his painful memories receive their healing balm Sunday if the team delivers in one more game.
