I feel your pain. In fact, most fans are tired of the media. We shouldn't fault them for doing their job though. It's all about $$$.

One of the reasons the league went to the 2 week layoff is for the hype to build and the $$$ to roll in. It's a huge boost for the economy, especially at the site of the big game.

Honestly, I stopped watching, listening and reading most of the pre-game stuff years ago. Come Sunday, my TV won't go on until 6:00 PM. Any info I need to know I get selectively. Much of it from sites like this.

I hear ya. I haven't watched too much ESPN over the past 2 weeks because the media looks too deep into just about everything. Throw in the "Spygate" crap, and it just gets a tad bit annoying.
