I want no part of the Giants in the SB.

But yes, let's not get ahead of ourselves. If the unmentionable should happen, you would be craving the opportunity to at least play the Giants.

If we win Sunday, we're winning the ******* SB. Brady and BB wont be denied.

Seriously one game at a time. You can only control what you can control. If the Pats win at 4 you can start worring about the next game at 4:15 PM

One game at a time but it's easy to see who the people are that embrace a challenge and those who prefer to not be tested.

I want no part of the 49ers in the SB..........only because my sons are big time niner fans (we lived in the Bay Area when they were young)

WHile the GIants are a scary team right now, and the memory of 07' still hurts, you have to remember we played them once this year already and almost beat them. Consider the following

1. we would have won that game if Spikes didn't go out with his foot injury early in the 4th quarter and Chung was able to play on that last Giants TD. Plus Edelman's fumble which led to a Giants TD.

2. Giants were helped with two pass interference calls on the game winning TD drive - one of them I know was uncatchable.

3. Giants are playing really really well now, but so are we.

4. Giants are playing with confidence, but the patriots are playing with HEART. I'll take heart any day over confidence. In fact you could argue that the giants are playing with quite a bit of arrogance. If we play them again, the roles may be reversed this time. I thought in 07' we were playing with overconfidence, the giants were not.

Will we win against them? Anything could happen.

I say the giants for the exact reason you are against.

not interested in a trophy that was done the easy way......

You must not have watched the Niners much this year.

They have more than a few similarities to the 01 Pats. Not saying they're gonna win the SB, but this is a well coached team playing efficient offense and hard-hitting, turnover filled defense.

SHOULD we beat Baltimore on Sunday (it's going to be a tough game) I prefer to have the GIANTS in the Superbowl (although I won't complain either way) You never want a team to be able to say they have your number, and right now the Giants do have our number, and I want that to be righted, and a fear of another loss is not strong enough as the goal to finish what was started in 2007, albeit 4 years later. Revenge Bowl 2012!

I actually thought the Giants dominated the 1st matchup more than the close score indicated.

And they were playing without Bradshaw & Nicks.

How did the Giants dominate? The score was 0-0 after the first half. The patriots played exceptionally well on defense -probably their best defensive effort in a single half from that unit all season long. I thought the giants dominated the 3rd quarter, but the pats came back in the fourth. Plus Ghost missed a chip shot field goal at the end of the first half, which would have made the score 24-23.

They didn't have Bradshaw, but the pats were doing a good job stopping the run that day whoever was running the ball. Nicks would be the wild card in all this. I'm not sure how we can handle him, manningham and cruz. Then again, I think Gronk and Hernandez are playing better than they have all season.

The Ravens aren't just going to be some pushover. Say what you want about their performance against Houston who had the NUMBER 2 DEFENSE they scored enough points to win, didn't turnover the football, and got 4 takeaways.

This is going to be an extremely tough game to win. However should we win I'd rather not have the Pats play the Giants in the Superbowl. Their pass rush is nasty. Not saying that the 49ers wouldn't also pose a great challenge either but I'd prefer them.

Yes, I'm going there.

I don't post much, but you might remember me for my "Pats will go 12-4ish and lose in the first round" posts. I even picked Denver to win last week. I thought the Pats were the much better team, but had no faith in them based on 09 and 10.

I don't see any way the Ravens win this game. Brady already had his annual 4 INT this year and this Ravens D isn't the Ravens D of old. Not to mention when we played them in 09, we didn't have the two TEs or Branch, Welker wasn't playing, and Brady was injured.

Not to mention, Flacco sucks.

What scares me is the Giants. Sure, the 49ers will be no cakewalk either, but the Giants just seem to have lady luck on their side. I don't know if I could take another loss to them in the SB.

That front seven scares me.

Please pick the Ravens to win don't change now.

Thank god the OP isn't playing for the Patriots. What a weak mentality.

If we get to the Super Bowl and play the Giants, I'd put SB 42 shirts in everyones locker the day of the game. Just a subtle reminder of what not doing your job can lead to...

I Don't Care.....Just get there....lucky breaks,power outages,wrath of god.....I Don't Care....

For MHK...For US.....Just Get There:rocker:

I want to see Kraft holding up the Lombardi trophy, that would be so damn special. Do it for Myra!

How many teams have beaten the Pats twice in any season. I see this somewhat similar to 2007. We beat them in the regular season finale and they beat us when it counted. I say bring on the Giants.

No matter who will play in the Superbowl, it will be a tough challenge. It's more about how the Pats come out to play than about the opponent they are playing. The only team that would have scared me if we make it that far was New Orleans. They are absolutely dominant inside a dome and would have had a home game this Sunday vs. Giants and then played in Indy's dome for the superbowl. For that reason, I would want no part of the Saints in the SB.
