I propose a trade!

2 Cents. I think your fantasy idea would make more sense if you didnt include the Bucs. There is no way in hell they trade McCoy. Its their new Warren Sapp. I think if you really want to go crazy you say:

STL- Bradford (to CLE) 3rd RD 2010(to SEA)

traded to

CLE- Eric Berry (to SEA) 2nd RD 2011(to STL) 5th RD 2010(to SEA)

traded to

SEA- Clausen (to STL)

It may not be Eric Berry that CLE takes, but you damn well believe it will be someone Carrol wants. and he is gonna get 2 late round picks just for being a dic k and taking Clausen a pick early

Great post! Very plausible. I like it.

If the Rams wanted McCoy why wouldn't they just draft him #1 although McCoy probably won't even get drafted in the 1st round. Late 1st round at best. The Rams are getting rapped in this deal they are trading #1 for #7 for a #1 next year. Teams are going to want to wait a year to draft a franchise Qb and thats what Bradford is. Nice idea, but not very logocial IMO

Lol. My bad. Let me clarify: GEARALD McCoy, not Colt McCoy, in round 1, and COLT McCoy, not Gerald McCoy, in round 2 (or round 3). The Rams, if anybody is doing the raping, it is them.

In my proposition, they get 1 of the 4 players they love most (Bradford, Suh, GERALD McCoy, Clausen). In addition to that:

They add a #1 in 2011 from the Browns.

They then land another QB (Colt McCoy) that they love in round 2 or 3, also with great intangiables, minus the ridiculous contract and with fewer ramifications if he turns out to be a dreaded "bust."

Colt McCoy can fall on his face, and, one way or another, the Rams are fine, and move on. But if Bradford busts, that cripples the franchise completely.
Not to say he will, or that I think he will (because I don't), I'm just saying...

I'm sorry but there is no downside for the Rams in this scenario. Bear in mind also that this is a dedicated and self-proclaimed "run-first team," making the expense of Bradford all the more questionable. Just something to think about.
